Do you think about certain things continuously, but keep on ending up at the same point, your thoughts basically ‘running in circles’? It can be about anything, for example work, your relationship, friends or too long a ‘to do list’. This is called worrying.
Worrying or fretting can be very tiring and time-consuming. Sometimes it can even cause sleeping problems or trouble focusing on the things you are doing.
Worrying too much can be very frustrating and can even make you feel gloomy. Sometimes the symptoms are so dominant that the fretting is found to be part of a depression.
